The American Association of University Women (AAUW), founded in 1881, is the oldest and the largest organization working to promote education and equity for women and girls. It is an organization of over 140,000 college educated women in over 1800 branches in 50 states. In Oregon, we have over 3,000 members in 42 local branches.
AAUW's purpose is to enable college women to continue their own intellectual growth, and to further the advancement of women and girls by commitment to education, equity, leadership, and the value of women's work. Monthly meetings of the Corvallis Branch are held on weeknights or Saturday mornings. Several interest groups meet monthly for study, friendship and support. Others meet occasionally during the year. Details are announced in the Branch bulletin. For more information, email
