Text Box: Several AAUW members and their guests enjoyed the first Gourmet Dinner of the 2008-2009 season on Oct. 25th. Mary Lee and Norm Seward were our gracious hosts. We enjoyed lots of good food and, of Text Box: course, good company.  Reservations are full for the Dec. 6th. dinner, but it is not too early to sign up for the dinner scheduled for Feb. 21st.

Text Box: The Great Decisions Discussion Group is forming for winter.  We review topics in foreign affairs, watch an informative DVD and utilize a briefing booklet to guide our discussion. The eight class series will be held in the Text Box: The meeting will be at the home of Betty Iverson, 3425 SE Shoreline Drive. Please call her at 754-4250, or email her at iversons@extima.com if you plan to attend.  If you have something Text Box: Japanese to wear, or something from Japan to bring and talk about briefly, it will add an interesting dimension to our discussion.
