March, 2008

Text Box: Through the efforts of the membership committee plus Mary Mills and Marilyn Treiman, we attempted to contact all the AAUW Members at Large that are within our area. They were invited to get together with our members at a coffee on Feb. 2 at Pam Duren's house in Text Box: Philomath. The weather kept many people away but we met with a small group of stalwart women to discuss our branch activities with new members and prospective members. Hopefully next month, we will be able to recognize some of those women as new members of our branch for 2008-2009 Text Box: year. Starting March 15, any members who join will start their 2008-2009 membership instead of waiting until renewals in June. April and May are bonus months for joining after March 15.
