Christmas in May!

The plan to provide a donation toward a better Christmas for orphans in Kenya will still take place at the May 19th luncheon at the Corvallis Country Club.  A special Christmas box will be available to receive your donations. 

BUT instead of personal checks CASH is requested.  Since this effort is not really official AAUW branch business, the money should not go through our branch checking account.  So, if you feel comfortable with donating cash that would be great.  (I promise not to spend your money on a new wardrobe!)  To simplify the process, and upon Juliana Mbuthia's suggestion, the money will be sent by Western Union to Kenya.  I'll have information about the specific agency in Kenya at the luncheon.  Thank you in advance for your willingness to help.
