Text Box: Corvallis AAUW and Dining for Women
Wednesday, October 17th at 6:30 p.m.
Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
2945 NW Circle Blvd., Corvallis

Dining for Women is a dinner giving circle. Across the country, women “dine in” together once a month, each bringing a dish to share and sending “dining out” dollars (the amount you think your meal would have cost in a restaurant) to international programs empowering women. So come on October 17, bring a dish to share, dine with old friends and new friends and learn about the international work of Dining for Women and the role local chapters, such as the Corvallis chapter play in this effort.

Dining for Women and AAUW both share similar goals of supporting, educating and empowering women. Instead of eating out we’ll dine in together and combine our dining dollars to support efforts of self-empowerment and education of women around the world.
This month Dining for Women is sponsoring, Matrichaya, a group dedicated to bringing about socio-economic change in India through education to underprivileged women and children. So join us, share a meal, and learn about Dining for Women and Matrichaya. Checks for donations to Matrichaya should be made to Dining for Women.
