Text Box: Volume 30, Number 2 October, 2009 Page # Text Box: The AAUW Corvallis Branch Board met on September 10 at 12:30 p.m. Present were Urchyl Bohard, Sue Borden, Marion Dickens, Pam Duren, Martha Jenkins, Edie Lee, Stefani McRae-Dickey, Nancy Neumann, Hope Reenstjerna, Marilyn Roland, and Marilyn Treiman There were three major agenda items: * Programs * Budget * Future of the branch Text Box: The programs for the ’09-’10 year are developing well. The group collaborated, building on Stefani McRae-Dickey’s excellent outline, and worked out some of the details for these events. Sue Borden presented a draft of the ’09-’10 budget. After discussion and minor revisions the board voted to approve the budget that will be presented to the whole branch on October 3rd. Text Box: Concerns about the future of the Corvallis Branch were discussed. Most of the Board positions have been filled; however, we still need a President and President-elect. Efforts to recruit have not been successful. There is a need for more members able and willing to become more involved in the organization. Text Box: 2009 AAUW Convention
